Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

I am not an in-network provider with any insurance carrier. Upon request, I can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance carrier to go towards your out-of-network deductible. I strongly recommend that families contact their insurance carrier to inquire about their out-of-network mental health benefits prior to starting services so that they have a clear understanding of their out-of-network benefits. Some of the most frequently used CPT codes include 90791, 90834, 90837, 90846, and 90847.

What are your fees?

While not a comprehensive list, these are my fees for some of the most commonly utilized services.

  • Intake (60-90 minutes) - $225

  • Therapy Session - $175-$190 (depending on time)

  • Consultation/School Observation - $190

What are your office hours?

My work hours align with my children’s school day, so I am not a good fit for families looking solely for individual child therapy or after-school hours. I primarily work with parents and young children, with appointments typically available between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Do you conduct psychoeducational testing?

No, I do not conduct psychoeducational testing at this time.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes, I do offer telehealth appointments for parents. I typically do not recommend telehealth for appointments with children, however, this varies case-by-case.

How do we get started?

The first step is to contact me via my secure contact form (located on the Contact page on my website) or by phone (919-890-5000). We’ll then schedule a 15- to 20-minute call to determine if it’s a good fit before moving forward. This call is an opportunity for you to share information with me, but also for you to ask me about my clinical practices, background, or any other questions you may have. There is no charge for this initial call. If we both decide to move forward with working together, the next step is to schedule an intake appointment, which is 60-90 minutes long.
